Giacomo Nanni was born in Italy, in Rimini. He studied cartooning at the Urbino Book School. Since 2008, he has published ten books and comics. He won the prize for the best short story at the Lucca Comics Festival, the Nuove strade prize at the Comicon in Naples and the Prix de l'audace at the Angoulême Festival. He lives and works in Paris.
